Useful information about Naxos, our location & how to reach us!

Naxos Island

Located in the South Aegean, Naxos is the largest of the Cyclades island group. Unlike other islands in this group, Naxos is exceptionally fertile which contributes to it being a very well lived-in island all year around. Characteristic labyrinth-style narrow streets, historic landmarks rich in both ancient and Venetian history, and delectable locally sourced products are just a few of the things you’ll fall in love with here. From traditional villages nestled in the hills to vibrant Naxos Town, our beautiful island has something for everyone!

How To Get To Naxos

By Air

From Athens International Airport - Eleftherios Venizelos - you can fly directly to Naxos Airport. The flight time is about 1 hour. During the peak of summer there are typically daily flights, and off season there are weekly flights. In either case, space is limited and we always highly recommend booking in advance.

By Boat

Many people (locals included!) prefer the experience of traveling to the islands by ferry boat. Whether you travel from Athens’ central port of Piraeus or from another Cycladic island, there is typically more space availability and timetable frequency compared to flying. Additionally, you can choose between large ferries or high-speed catamarans. Reservations can be made online or through your travel agent / service provider.
